Our ski and snowboard instructors teach more than 8,000 lessons every season! Great Divide is a fun, friendly, and affordable place to learn to ski and snowboard.

The BackYard Beginner Slope is just for beginners and kids, no fast skiers or riders allowed. Our BackYard is easy and FREE making it the perfect place to learn to ski or snowboard.

Great Divide offers ski and snowboard lessons for all ages.

LEARN TO SKI PACKAGES

This is the best deal for first time skiers and snowboarders. This two hour lesson gives you the foundations of skiing or riding. If you love the program, you can convert to the EZ 1-2-3 program for just $90 more!

Lesson Details:

Cost: $60/person

Who: Beginner Skiers Ages 6+, Beginner Snowboards Ages 7+

What: Two hour group lesson including equipment rental included (helmet is extra), lift ticket once approved by instructor

When: Friday 1pm, Weekends & Holidays 10am or 1pm

All Group Lessons must be scheduled 48 hours in advance.  Space is limited and fills quickly.

*If only one student is signed up for the group lesson, it will be converted to a 1-hour private lesson.

Note: If no time slots appear on chosen date, lessons are fully booked for that day.

Learning has never been this EZ. This is for first time skiers and snowboarders who are ready to become great at the sport. This three lesson package gives you the skills and confidence to take on the mountain!

GROUP LESSONS

Our Mighty Mites program is an ideal introduction to snow sports. Mighty Mites lessons are geared specifically for kids ages 5 – 7 and keep small student to instructor ratios. Instructors focus on games, imagination and teaching techniques to help your child gain confidence, develop their abilities and build independence on the slopes.  Mighty Mites lessons are two hours long and only take place in the BackYard Beginning Slope.

Lift Tickets are not necessary in this program. Lessons do not include rentals, however discounted rentals available. We offer morning start times and afternoon start times on weekends and holidays. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to lesson start time to allow your child time to gear up and meet their instructor.

Mighty Mite Skiers Group Lesson — Book Here!

Come out and enjoy the mountain, find new stashes of great snow, and join in the camaraderie of other skiers and snowboarders. Great Divide Group Lessons have a small instructor to student ratio allowing for skill development at all levels.

SNOKIDS

Set your child up for a life-long love of skiing. This is a two hour ski lesson that requires parent participation in our Backyard Beginner Area.

Lesson Details:

Cost: $20/child

Who: Pre-school and Kindergarten aged Children

What: Two hour group lesson including equipment rental (helmet is extra)

When:  1pm – 3pm every operating day

PRIVATE LESSONS

Whether learning for the first time or looking to enhance your skills, private lessons are tailored to your skills and goals. This one-on-one lesson help you reach your goals, discover new terrain and have fun on the snow!

Lesson Details:

Cost: $60/hour for one person or 3 hours for $150 (do not need to be used on the same day), add additional people for $20/hour

Who: All Ages & Skill Levels!

What: One hour lesson with personalized to your goals

When: Wednesday – Friday 1pm – 3pm, Weekends & Holidays 10am – 3pm

 ADVENTURING ADULTS

Fun & Friendly group ski lesson for adults only (18+). Grow confidence, knowledge, and friendship.

Lessons take place from 10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm on Saturdays or Sundays.

Tuition is $40/ session. Bonus, when you buy 3 sessions you get one FREE (per person, not transferable)

ALL-MOUNTAIN SKI TEAM

All Mountain is run by the Great Divide Ski Team

The All Mountain program is open to skiers ages 6 to 12 who have basic skiing skills as this is not a beginner program. Skiers must be able to handle their own equipment, make controlled turns, able to ride the Good Luck Lift without assistance, and have the desire to learn and have fun. The participation of skiers younger than 7 will be considered by the director of the program and is based on ability and maturity.

Saturday or Sunday

Session I – 9:30 am-noon // Session II – 1 pm – 3:30 pm
