Ski Patrol services at Great Divide are provided by both volunteers and area employees all of whom serve at the pleasure of Great Divide Snowsports. Ski patrollers are trained in accordance with National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care Standards. Safety is a primary concern for everyone at Great Divide and our qualified and friendly patrollers are a key link in our safety chain.
It is the purpose of the Great Divide Ski Patrol to:
- Support local accomplishment of the mission of the National Ski Patrol.
- Support delivery of National Ski Patrol sanctioned training.
- Provide an organization dedicated to the safety and welfare of the ski and outdoor recreation community.
- Provide a cadre of trained people eligible for selection for service at the Great Divide Ski Area.
