Great Divide is a progressive & FUN family operated SnowSports mountain park that covers a lot of country.  Over 100 named trails, including bowls, glades, and fun skiing regions.  The ski terrain is spread out over three mountain peaks and three distinct valleys on an area covering 1600 acres and three miles from end-to-end. We also have 6 terrific terrain parks with features that riders of all ages and abilities will enjoy.

BACKYARD BEGINNERS SLOPE…  A private and quiet place for beginners and kids, located right out the back door of the lodge. Warming Hut for students and families.

MEADOW MOUNTAIN… 8 trails of easy skiing and riding for beginners and kids. Small ROWDY & RUCKUS Terrain Parks and REVENGE X-Course for beginners.

GOOD LUCK… THE SNOW ZONE… 7 trails and the RASCAL, RODEO, and WildWood terrain parks are completely covered with powerful snowmaking.  Family friendly slopes and trails. Ski under the lights on Friday nights until 9pm. This area is also available for private parties on Thursday and Saturday nights- contact us for more info!

MOUNT BELMONT… Go all the way to the top and enjoy the challenge of 30 classic slopes and trails from the last 50 years!  Summit Patrol Hut open to the public with stunning views.

RAWHIDE GULCH… Remote… Cornices, cliffs, chutes and glades…  The BIG OPEN.  25 trails. It’s way out South, but the effort has huge rewards. Easy chairlift ride back to the main mountain. Open weekends and holidays. DO NOT GO ALONE!

WILD WEST… Enormous backcountry adventure area with the convenience  of a chairlift and the Wild West Cabin. Open weekends and holidays. DO NOT GO ALONE!

MUSIC

Live music in the Missing Lynx Saloon every Friday night from 6:30-9:30pm. Join us for our first Fun Friday the day after Thanksgiving, November 29, and plan to join us for all 16 Snowy Nights Under the Lights!

Starting March 15, we’ll have sundeck bands and BBQ’s any weekend when the weather is wonderful. Watch our website and social media sites for details!

Good Luck Double Chair — 2,600 feet (opened 1988)
Meadow Mountain Double Chair — 1,000 feet (opened 1993)
Rawhide Gulch Double Chair — 2,450 feet (opened 2000)
Wild West Double Chair — 5,000 feet (opened 2001)
BackYard Beginner’s Tow — 300 feet (opened 1997)

Our Base Lodge lies at 5,900 feet.  The top of Mt Belmont is 7330 feet with the chairlift serving up to 7,250 feet.  The bottom of Wild West is 5,750 feet, so we offer lift serviced vertical of 1,500 feet.

With an average annual snowfall of 180 inches, we’re typically open Thanksgiving weekend to early April. The lifts are open to the public Wednesday through Sunday and any holiday when the kids are out of school. There is public night skiing Friday nights all season usually with Live Music in the Saloon.
