Snow Report

Wednesday March 25, 2015….Noon

We will be open for limited late season skiing  Saturday March 28 and  Sunday  March 29.  Noon – 5pm each day.

We never set a firm closing date.  If the mountain is skiable top to bottom,  we remain open for skiing as a service to our Season Pass Holders and any others who want to enjoy some warm weather spring skiing.

For this weekend, just the big Mount Belmont Chairlift to the summit.  No lower mountain lifts or easy way down.  Best suited to intermediate and above level skiers who are familiar with the mountain.  No ski school lessons offered this weekend.

You will find good spring snow on Wild Acres, Go West, Northwest Passage, 1806,  all the Cabin area trails, Hal’s, SnowFields, Belmont Bowl, Good Luck, CUB, SunnySide, and Broadway.

All of the Rawhide Gulch Trails have very good cover including terrific skiing in The Big Open.  However,  you must hike out a few hundred yards on Red Tail Trail back to the bridge.  Hey,  its downhill hiking and it will be a nice weekend for a little walk!

Two jibs in RODEO Park and 2 jumps 2 boxes in RASCAL Park.

It has been cool the last few days, but the persistent pattern of very warm weather and occasional rain events over the past 7 weeks has taken a toll on what was a terrific early season snow pack.  We now have frequent bare spots on many trails.  However,  unlike thin base conditions typical of early season,  these bare spots are easy to see and avoid.  Ski carefully, keep your eyes open and HAVE FUN!

Lift tickets just $20 for the entire afternoon or $10 per hour.

They finally got some big snowfall down south this week,  so if you want to visit Big Sky or Bridger Bowl this weekend, remember that your Great Divide Season Pass will earn you the half-day rate at those ski areas.

Save $100 when you buy your 2015-2016 Season Pass by March 31st.  NOW just $299 but going up to $399 on April 1st.  We hope to see you skiing this weekend, but you can also buy your pass online.

Enjoyable spring skiing last weekend….Notice the seat pads are still on WildWest in case a big spring storm comes our way.
