Sunday February 7, 2016….6am….20 degrees rising to 35 today.  After Saturday’s “Big BLOW” we’ve got nuthin’ but nice today…..Sunny skies, High about 35, just a breeze, but not really wind.kidz on boomerangWith sunny skies and pleasant temps, it’s a terrific time for little kids to have fun on the snow.

Open Sunday 9:30am-4pm.  All 5 chairlifts.  All 105 trails. All 6 Terrain Parks.  Saturday’s wind moved the new snow from Thursday around a bit.  So,  you will find some areas of scoured hard snow, and some BIG powder pillows too.  Make it an adventure and find your own fun on the mountain today.  40 trails snowcat groomed this morning for consistent comfortable cruising.

RODEO Terrain Park will open a 30′ and 40′ jump this weekend.

Sunday looks like the best weather day of the weekend, but there is that big game late in the afternoon.  We’ve got a great idea for you……$20 lift tickets (1/2 regular rate) available online now at  That way you can enjoy the best skiing of the weekend and still leave early to go home and whip up your party dip.

Winter Season hours:  Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am-4pm.   Fridays 10am – 9 at night.  Saturdays and Sundays 9:30am – 4pm with outer valley lifts operating.

While the wicked winter weather is moving away from the valley,  it has left a lot of snow on the mountain.  115″ so far this season.  Now is the time to take the short drive to Great Divide (30 minutes from town) and get up on all that snow (3,000′ above the valley floor).  The air is 10 degrees cooler keeping the snow light and dry, but the higher elevation sun warms you nicely while you ski.

Our SnoKids pre-school ski-school is now available at 1pm every operating afternoon.  Just $10 for ski equipment and some coaching in The BackYard by our Instructors.
